A quick summary :

I'm 35. CEO, Network geek, programmer, Linux advocate.

Did SFX digital compositing work in LA and Canada. It was stressful and fun. Check out Gastown Post and Transfer in Vancouver B.C., great digital post work. I'm still a damned good Cineon (now Silicon Grail .. er .. Apple Shake) compositor.

Went into the sysadmin/tech field. Worked for Cobalt networks, helped with the Qube and Raq.

Moved to Boston, worked for Andover.net and VA Linux systems. Most fun I've ever had in a job. Upgraded the network that runs Slashdot, Freshmeat, SourceForge and the like. Greatest bunch of linux geeks ever assembled, and it's a damned shame that hardware sales didn't work out for VA.

Moved back home to San Francisco, stayed with VA Linux as long as the economy let me. I've done the odd consulting gig since and such fine companies as Mixonic (Burn custom CD's on the web!), moved to Florida for three years and implemented a Linux recovery partition for IBM thinkpads, then moved back to San Francisco to consult with Penguin Computing for two more.

So, I'm back in Florida again, now the CEO of a new electric car company.

Two cats, a nice condo in Capitola. Best friend has a lovely house in Ft. Lauderdale and five great bunny rabbits. Lets hope they eventually get along.
